Fozi Salah is one of our many students in our Cairo hackerspace in Egypt. The young man, from Djibouti, follows our intro to web development training.
The digital world has always fascinated me
I studied in the field of commerce. Over time, I realized that I wanted to do something else and learn new IT skills. The digital world has always fascinated me, and I have had a passion for it since I was little, so I decided to take the plunge and make my passion my job. I discovered GOMYCODE through an advertisement on social networks. In fact, the quality of this content caught my attention. So I decided to take a look at the website to see the training offered. I discovered a wide range of courses but all well-targeted and rich. I also came to take a look at the hackerspace where I was very well received by the educational team who perfectly directed me towards the most appropriate training for me and explained to me how the training was going to take place. So I just decided to sign up.
I am starting from zero here
I chose the intro to web development training because these are the basics to master before moving on to the next level. For someone who has no knowledge of web development, going through this first step is the best thing to do. I am starting from zero here, and my goal is to then take it to the next level by following the training in Front-end then in back-end.
GOMYCODE offers an extraordinary community
The atypical charm of the hackerspace, the motivation of the instructor and the interaction with other students made my first day at GOMYCODE really awesome!
Everything was perfect. Our instructor quickly put us at ease. He is very professional and knows exactly what he is doing. He is also creative and knows how to motivate us. With the other students, it went very well too. The ice was quickly broken from the first day. We got along very quickly and we felt the solidarity between us. In fact, GOMYCODE offers an extraordinary community that allows new students, as soon as they arrive here, to find the environment necessary to integrate well and do well.
Start learning new skills at an early age
If I had to give any advice to people my age, it would be to start learning new skills at an early age. The earlier you start training, the better armed you are and the more you can upgrade your skills. Do not waste your time and start learning now.
